Shortly after moving to Florida, Russell worked alongside the owner of a painting franchise for three years. The business was successful, and he was treated well. Stability made it easy to put his entrepreneurial goals on hold.

Then everything shifted. Due to ongoing franchise challenges beyond their control, the company made the decision to close. While the news initially brought uncertainty, Russell quickly recognized something greater: opportunity.
